Job Responsibilities

York Technical College, a member of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System, is a public, two-year institution of higher education that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State.

The Health and Human Services Clinical Coordinator performs the following functions:

* Collaborate with the clinical placement faculty to maximize clinical placement efforts and assist with creating and maintaining clinical placement schedules
* Assist faculty with the document collection process for clinical sites ensure requirements are met timely and follow up on contractual agreement receipt, signature, submissions and expirations
* Communicate deadline update reminders and update and maintain accurate student records/correspondence/evaluations to students
* Facilitates appropriate medical record collection and privacy requirements across allied health and nursing programs
* Update, oversee, and follow up on all compliance and regulatory standards. Review CDC, OSHA and other government agency guidance to assure compliance
* Collaborate with Department Chairs and faculty to understand requirements for new clinical sites and ensure program readiness
* Provide clinical adjuncts with all documentation required for student and adjunct placement, serve as a liaison to students for documentation and access modifications required for clinical placement
* Communicate with department chairs and/or program clinical coordinators regarding clinical needs for programs
* Participate in new student orientations, assist with minute taking at all HHS advisory board meetings, and provide administrative support for all HHS departments, and serve as liaison to the clinical sites to share student and faculty information and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related medical field is preferred
* At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare or health education setting is preferred
