Payroll Supervisor

Manufacturing/Recycling company is looking for a stellar Payroll Manager/Supervisor who has 2+ recent YOE with 2+ direct reports. Must have 1+ YOE with processing for multiple locations/company codes.
Description:
200 employees - 3 shifts biweekly payroll
Knowledge of CA payroll and break laws.
oversees the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department. Runs the processing of multiple payrolls of all socal sites (4 locations)
Implements processes that ensure all legally required federal, state and local taxes,
Social Security contributions, and other deductions such as contributions to benefit programs are withheld from individual paychecks.
Knowledge of payroll taxes, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Ensures accurate accounting and reporting on all payroll related feeds to auditors.
Performs and oversees accurate, correct, and timely payroll reconciliations and audits, and troubleshoots any issues that arise.
Reconciles and completes quarterly and annual federal and state tax reporting, including Forms W-2 and correction reports as required. Stays current, complies with and provides interpretations on various rules, regulations, laws, contracts and policies. May work with government agencies, benefit providers, auditors and/or other staff to resolve problems and provide requested information.
Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have supervisory experience - 2 employees in payroll
Manufacturing environment
Will oversee multiple locations
