Pay Range: $26-$27.29 per hour

Job Purpose: Safely and effectively compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes. Communicates with customers and co-workers to complete responsibilities. Deadline driven, weekly and monthly. Process weekly payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Process weekly payroll information for 3 unions (e.g timesheets)
* Document customer related communications in the company's internal customer service system
* Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files.
* Process accounts receivable weekly and monthly, emailing invoices, scanning documents and mailing invoices as well as checks.
* Prepare monthly union medical, union dues, pension three unions.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries for information and documentation requests on their accounts.
* Responsible for direct communication with various department managers on an as needed basis regarding past due customers
* Prepare collections letters and aging reports
* Research rebate checks
* Prepare, generate, and review various internal reports
* Prepare debit and credit memos as required
* Apply payments to accounts and reconciling customer accounts with the customers
* Assist in the mailing of invoices and checks
* Assist in setting up customers and making changes to customer accounts
* Assist in compiling reports and recording information in various databases
* Support accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements; running software programs
* Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
* Follow department and company procedures
* Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
* Other duties as assigned
