As an Accounting Associate, you'll manage accounting software programs to process business transactions such as accounts receivable, invoicing, and receipts. Additionally, you'll handle document scanning and receptionist duties daily.

Responsibilities:

* Invoicing: Enter Sales Orders, add freight costs, and distribute invoices to customers daily.
* Accounts Receivable: Prepare daily check deposits, process credit card transactions, generate monthly statements, and handle customer inquiries.
* Document Scanning/Indexing: Prepare, scan, and index AR invoices and other accounting documents daily.
* Receptionist Duties: Answer and forward phone calls, greet customers, sort and distribute mail, and assist with supply orders.
* Other Responsibilities: Provide accounting and clerical support, maintain accurate records, and assist company personnel as needed.

Skills Required:

* Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or accounts payable, and 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
* Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Data entry and word processing skills.
* Organized and pleasant attitude.
* High school diploma required; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.

Pay starts at $15/hour, negotiable based on experience

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm
