Job Overview:

The Special Procedure Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as required by physician orders. Provides patient services using sophisticated imaging techniques such as biplane and single plane fluoroscopy.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program
* NJ state licensure
* ARRT Certification
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

* Day Shift
* Part-Time
* 25 hours per week

Essential Functions:

* Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as required by physician orders
* Provides patient services using sophisticated imaging techniques such as biplane and single plane fluoroscopy
* Technologist is competent in the production of quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician
* Reviewing and/or recording pertinent patient history and physiological data for interpretation by the radiologist / physician
* Performs a variety of angiographic, interventional and special procedure exams
* Assist Interventional Radiologist with examinations
* Processes billing and exam paperwork and maintains records and reports.
* Monitors and maintains equipment
* Performs other tasks and duties as required
