Job Overview:

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic medical radiographs within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental quality control standards. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Successful completion of requirements for graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
* New Jersey State Licensure
* ARRT Certification
* BLS through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

* Full-Time
* Day Shift
* 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

* Performs all routine radiographic procedures and views according to department procedure manual
* Performs and/or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
* Performs surgical and portable examinations as assigned
* Reviews exposed radiographs for proper positioning, technique, and identification
* Performs Maxifile/FIS functions as appropriate, including procedure completion and charge capture
* Complies with all regulatory and accrediting standards
* Performs other tasks as directed by the department
