Position Summary

This position is funded by a grant for a duration of time as defined by the grantor.

Works under the supervision of the Program & Quality Manager of the Ryan White Program. Supports all aspects of HIV/AIDS care and prevention training for subrecipients. Initiates community outreach strategies geared towards linkage and retention to medical care and support services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Pay grade 51.

Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education

Minimum Qualifications

100% -

1. Three (3) years of experience in an increasingly responsible administrative capacity; AND

2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, or closely related field; OR

3. An equivalent combination of related education and experience.

4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinates and supports HIV/AIDS care and prevention training for recipients.

2. Develops and implements an annual training schedule, reporting quarterly progress and assisting with triennial needs' assessments.

3. Collaborates with sub-recipients to analyze gaps in the quality and quantity of services, aiming to enhance overall service effectiveness.

4. Communicate regularly with community agency representatives providing resources for people living with HIV/AIDS.

5. Reviews target population data to determine best approaches to reach target population.

6. Works with the program and quality manager to ensure recipients maintain continuous, systematic quality improvement program(s) with a focus on clear leadership, data-driven progress, and achieving quality objectives.

7. Attends and Initiates community outreach strategies under the guidance of the Ryan White EHE Program Manager to address linkage and retention to medical care and support services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

8. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with community agencies to enhance the impact of outreach initiatives.

9. Maintains community calendar of activities, including health fairs, neighborhood gatherings, community events, etc. for participation.

10. Participates in HIV/AIDS related data-driven discussions and strategic planning with community-based organizations (CBOs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and local health departments (HDs).

11. Interprets federal policy related to service delivery, ensuring adherence to established policies.

12. Performs various administrative activities, including ad-hoc reports, meeting attendance, presentations, and assistance with special projects.

13. Assists with monitoring site visits as needed.

14. Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.

1. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

2. Knowledge of health and social agencies and of community resources.

3. Knowledge and understanding of goals, purposes, policies, and practices of a best practice for care coordination, case management program.

4. Working knowledge of basic medical terminology.

5. Ability to pay close attention to detail and to be self-directed to work in a fast-paced professional environment with minimum supervision.

6. Ability to use good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.

7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.

8. Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving methods related to the assessment and quality assurance programmatic activities.

9. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), databases and related software applications.

Special Requirements

1. Must possess a valid Tennessee driver license or secure one by date of employment.

2. Must have daily access to an operable automobile and meet county requirements for automobile insurance upon date of employment.

3. Must be willing to carry a cell phone for contact.

4. Work will require attendance at meetings and activities on weekends and/or after regular business hours.
