BASIC FUNCTION: As a critical part of the healthcare team, the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides various direct, quality patient care activities to residents in a long term care environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists patients in activities of daily living such as dressing or undressing, bathing, eating, etc.
  • Implements specific procedures and programs
  • Coordinates work within the department as well as with other departments
  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and documents resident interactions as needed
  • Responds to inquiries or requests for information
  • Assists immediate supervisor and nurses with tasks to support department operations
  • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have an active valid license as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Colorado.
  • Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or preferred.
  • Two years of practical experience in a CNA position preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.

SALARY INFORMATION:
  • $17.50 - $26.57 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
  • Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
  • Bonus (If Eligible)
  • Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
