Our client is a global leading general contractor with a prominent presence in New Jersey. They are working with some of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US supporting their complex construction needs. They are looking to bring in a highly motivated Electrical Superintendent to support their ongoing pharmaceutical construction projects in Central New Jersey.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* This position will report to the Project Director & Director of Operations with matrixed supervision by the Project Manager and Sr Superintendent for the given assignment
* Provide daily job site inspection of work to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and industry standards
* Complete construction reports
* Review contractor billing, in-service reports
* Provide contractor/vendor evaluations during project active construction phase
* Assist in the completion of the project close-out reports
* Perform on-call duties in the case of emergent weather-related outages
* Participate in bid evaluations and the contractor selection process
* Complete necessary training and qualify to hold an assignment in Industry Tagging System and serve as a Tag Holder, when required
* This position will support permitting work required for all regulatory agencies from the federal level, the state level and municipality level
* Position will visit construction sights and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules
