The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a Licensed Practical Nurse career opportunity within Montana State Hospital.

The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state.

This position performs skilled nursing duties.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity

* Must have a thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.
* Ability to provide patient assessment and appropriate documentation.
* Implement appropriate nursing care interventions.
* Perform accurate and thorough work.
* Skill in the use of the basic instruments and equipment of the nursing profession.
* Knowledge of current psychopharmacology.
* Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
* Ability to Analyze, assemble, and organize information.
* Ability to proficiently utilize technology related to patient care information systems.
* Meet minimum qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
* Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.
