As an Electrical Technician you will perform operator responsibilities within your department. This will include ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are conducted in a safe manner, with a focus on producing quality product within the time required by our customers. You will earn an annual salary between $65,000 and $72,000. We offer low-cost medical, dental and vision benefits as well as a company matched 401K plan, life insurance, and flexible spending plans. Projects are related to the improvement of product quality, manufacturing processes consistency, efficiency and throughput, operating systems, and lean manufacturing.
Walk-In Applicants are welcome daily from 8AM-4PM.
Duties and Responsibilities
Trouble shoot and repair wire drawing and bunching machines, as well as power distribution, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other building systems. Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to keep machinery operational and performing at optimal levels. Skills and abilities include:

Knowledge of AC and DC variable speed drives and motors
Ability to work with PLC's and other control components
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Ability to use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair machine control systems
Knowledge of three phase, 480-volt electrical systems
Knowledge of compressed air, lubricant filtering and cooling, hydraulic, and HVAC systems

Qualifications and Skills

A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology or another similar field. Equivalent work experience, technical training or trade school will be considered in lieu of education.
Use personal computers and software including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and various programming packages
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and machine safety standards
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent work record, including safety, quality and attendance
Positive attitude

Working at night and on holidays and weekends may be required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to use hand tools, climb ladders, and other tasks as required to work on manufacturing equipment.
