Temporary Heating Plant Operator

This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position.
NDSU FACILITIES MANAGEMENT - HEATING PLANT has openings for temporary employees in the heating plant.
Description & Details:
* Unloading coal from train cars
* Pulling ash on industrial boilers
* Blowing soot on coal boilers
* Shop work, assisting operator or mechanic
* Hauling and stockpiling coal
* Operating front end loader
* Assist the Lead operator with the shift duties required to operate the Heating Plant.
* Assist with cleaning the plant and coal unloading area/ including scraping, shoveling, sweeping/washing floors, and accomplish all other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
* Rotating Shifts and night and weekend work involved.
Advertised Pay:
* $23.00/hr
Minimum Qualifications:
* Previous work experience, if any
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must be 18 yrs old or older
* Resume not required but encouraged
* Ability to operate equipment including front end loader
* Ability to work flexible shift schedule including nights and weekends
