Job Summary:

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a New Hampshire Trauma Medical Review Committee (TMRC) designated Level II trauma center. We are currently seeking trauma surgeons that can work in a PRN capacity.

Trauma Program:

* 220-bed Acute Care Facility
* The only Level II Trauma Center on the seacoast-recently completed ACS verification visit
* 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour secondary call from home with 30 minute response (rarely called in)
* Robust regional referral opportunities
* Busy Emergency General Surgery component

Trauma Criteria:

* Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred with a clinical focus on ICU
* ATLS Required
* 3-5 years experience preferred

* 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
* Implementing psychiatry residency program in summer 2021 with Tufts University affiliation
* Internal medicine and family medicine residency programs with Tufts University affiliation
* 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds
