JOB SUMMARY: Manages coffee bar operations - including: complete opening and closing checklists, responsible for working daily shifts, ordering and receiving of product, updating pricing information, working closely with marketing on signage and promotions, recipe compliance, all local board of health compliance, customer relations, all POS inputting and updating, daily guest interactions, daily/weekly/monthly sales balancing/reporting as needed by accounting, monthly financial review with manager, monthly updated business plan to meet sales goals, to be completed with manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Greets customers, takes orders, mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea chai, fruit blend drink, etc. while considering customer specifications.
* Works to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages.
* Arranges coffee bar, supplies and cups to make attractive displays.
* Maintains bar area in a neat and sanitary manner.
* Often cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas and preparation areas.
* Records all sales, collects money, operates cash register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required.
* May operate a cash, credit card and electronic payment register.
* Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
* Complies with all hospital policies and procedures including reporting of injuries and accidents.
* Participates in all required training programs.
