JOB TITLE: Director, Advanced Compliance

LOCATION: Hybrid TBD

Travel: Up to 35%

As a Director, Advanced Compliance, you will serve as an expert technologist on MRI Quality and Safety for all SMI locations and provide as a resource to site operations and technologists concerning MRI quality, patient interaction, image post-processing. You will also ensure that protocols are consistently updated and followed throughout the system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assisting in the development, presentation, and monitoring of internal initiatives and measures, coordinating clinical tracking, and reporting and designing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with ACR image evaluation for MRI.
  • Point person for quality and safety implementation and support.
  • Liaison between Rads and MRSO for MRI Technologists at all locations.
  • Developing methods for training and assuring competency in the performance of MRI Imaging, quality of patient care and imaging product, and enhancing the MRI Imaging functionality of SMI.
  • Assure quality in MR Imaging via development, implementation and continued improvement of comprehensive processes that encompasses scanner performance.
  • Create and monitor clinical processes to assure efficiencies in meeting scanning volume goals and providing quality images and patient care.
  • Work closely with physicians, operations leaders, and technologist regarding continuous improvement initiatives and addressment of image quality and MRI safety concerns.
  • Establish and measure data driven improvement methods using key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, general safety and MRI safety standards, and equipment quality control.
  • Assist in determining MRI educational needs.
  • Manage and monitor internal Opportunities for Improvement (OI) and Tech Notes portal and entries.
  • Utilize and operate equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
  • Promote effective and efficient utilization of company resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • BA degree or HS diploma with equivalent years of experience

License/Certification:
  • Registered MRI Technologies with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MRI)
  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Certified by the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (SBMRS) as Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) certified MRSC or certification obtained within one year of hire date.

Experience:
  • Experience in high volume, fast paced imaging organization.
  • Minimum of 5 years MRI experience
  • Proven ability to lead and influence reports, peers, and others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking. May also include travel by vehicle, air or other method of transportation.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department.
