Position Overview

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the timely and accurate application of customer and vendor payments. Also researches and resolves issues related to payment transactions.

Essential Job Functions:

* Verifies and reconciles daily deposits.
* Performs research on accounts as needed.
* Posts and reconciles payment corrections after ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
* Records customer and vendor payments into the Company's ERP systems.
* Reconciles cash drawers daily.
* Researches unidentified checks in the GL.
* Prepare JEs for non-customer cash deposits.
* Receive invoices, verify accuracy of information throughout our different systems.
* Enter invoices into Accounts Payable systems.
* Approve payment batches.
* Maintain and file all appropriate documentation.
* Reconcile Vendor Statements.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
* Ability to prioritize/re-prioritize multiple projects and/or deadlines.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.

Education and Experience:

* Associates degree (bachelors preferred)
* 1+ year of relevant experience
* Proficient in 10 key by touch
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office with basic Excel skills
