The Council seeks a New School student for 10 hours per week to assist with a variety of projects for the rest of the Spring semester. There is also a possibility of increased hours and the role being extended into the Summer and the next academic year, subject to performance and funding.  

Responsibilities will include: administrative and logistical support for the Council; supporting with training and events; conducting outreach; writing external communications; helping coordinate the Council's regional networks; and research into prospective projects, partner organizations and/or funders. Depending on the interest of the student, they will also have the opportunity to assist with drafting of fundraising applications, conducting legal research, and helping think through the strategy of the Council going forward.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Draft and create communication materials such as newsletters, membership updates, blogs, event invitations

● Assist with outreach to current and prospective members of the Council

● Help organize in-person regional consultation(s) (no travel), trainings, and events

● Support with maintaining the Council's website

● Document maintenance and organization

● Non-academic research projects as needed

● Other duties as assigned and dependent on interests/skills of individual
