The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $27.70 - 35.90 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Orrville, OH.

Key Aspects:

* The Maintenance Coordinator will be the department lead in the development of a proactive maintenance focus, responsible for maintaining parts inventory and work order planning.


* The role will be primarily administrative, although some hands-on troubleshooting and repairs will be required.



What you'll do in this role:

* Partner with Operations to plan and execute the maintenance plan.


* Communicate directly with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep equipment running smoothly.


* Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance on parts of equipment including machines including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic repairs.


* Assist with developing a comprehensive maintenance budget, manage payments for services, equipment and supplies.


* Responsible for maintaining parts inventory and the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).


* May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment.


* Be the site lead for the WCCO Professional Maintenance pillar.


* All other duties as assigned.



What you'll need to be successful:

* Prior relevant maintenance or fabrication experience.


* Prior experience with CMMS preferred.


* Manufacturing experience preferred.


* Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast paced environment.


* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.


* Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.


* Computer skills are required.


* High School diploma or equivalent.
