Job Overview: The Clerical Associate (CA) coordinates daily unit functioning to assist RN, physician, ancillary and support staff to provide high quality patient care.# They also provide superior service to all internal and external customers.# The CA must be able to demonstrate the proper use of communication devices to carry out unit functioning. The ability to communicate technical and regulatory requirements to key stakeholder groups, including patient and family, accurately and in a service oriented manner is required. Unit Description The Neonatal Intensive Care Clerical Associate coordinates activities of the nursing unit through communication and requisition/management of supplies as well as performs general receptionist and clerical duties to support unit customers.# The Neonatal Intensive Care Clerical Associate compiles accurate data and enters the information into the electronically medical record.# Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education: Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire. Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred# Successfully completes Epic class#as required by care center/unit. # # # # # # # # #

As a Clerical Associate, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Job Overview:
