The Departmental Secretary II position in the College of Education Associate Dean's Office is responsible for providing administrative support to the Associate Dean of the College of Education, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments and special events; maintaining files; assisting with budgets to include payment of accreditation fees and annual dues; routing and processing various paperwork for the college; effectively working with personnel from offices within the college and across the University, including all Alabama campuses and Troy Online; recording meeting minutes from several college committees; drafting correspondence and maintaining files; assisting with travel arrangements for the Dean; answering office phones; greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and visitors; and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
