Description

American Training, a non-profit Human Services Agency, is seeking an energetic Developmental Specialist that can create WOW Magic for our Guests with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities. As an American Training Developmental Specialist, you will positivelyimpact the lives of our Guests in our Day Programs (Andover, Wakefield & Lowell).

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

What does a Developmental Specialist do?
  • Work cohesively with team members to establish individual goals based off each Guests interest.
  • Create and facilitate activities which promote the goals, needs, and desires of each Guest.
  • Maintains a regular caseload ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • At least one year experience working with similar population.
  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of empathy, patience, and compassion.
  • Satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting.
  • Valid State driver's license (required).
