Essential Responsibilities:

* Reviews monthly activity from vacation companies and prepare necessary journal entries to post activity in Prologue in accordance with GAAP
* Prepares monthly reconciliations of vacation balance sheet accounts
* Run monthly reports from property management software(s) to calculate future revenues
* Calculate monthly allowance for cancellations on future reservations
* Assist with monthly variance analysis for Towne Vacations
* Prepares and analyzes large amounts of data using Excel and summarizes findings
* Work with vacation accounting staff to ensure fixed assets are capitalized according to company policy
* Run monthly metric reports from Key Data and prepare monthly statistical journal entry file for upload
* Assist with preparing sections of the monthly Board Report
* Assist Vacations Team members with special projects



Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal, organizational planning, and PC skills
* Strong understanding of GAAP
* Be able to navigate through large quantities of data
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information



Desired Experience:

* CPA or CPA candidate preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's degree in Accounting a plus
* 2+ years of relative work experience, banking or property management accounting experience a plus
