PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST

Psychiatric Residential Specialist Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living skills and shared responsibility for all clients in the house. The weekly work schedule consists of 3-4 overnight shifts including a Saturday or Sunday. This is a full-time position.

Also hiring part-time no benefits $20.00 an hour

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support residential clients in all aspects of daily living skills.
  • Support member's healthcare needs and follow-up care.
  • Maintain the residence providing a safe and clean environment.
  • Positive role modeling and ensuring communication is respectful and culturally appropriate.
  • Complete schedules, notes, and shift logs in the EHR.
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma and 2 years' experience working with mentally ill adults.
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Valid full driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
