Job Overview:
The Front Desk Lead Team will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. As well as assisting and partially overseeing operational elements to the business.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
·         Welcome members, prospective members, and guests while delivering our 10/5 rule and providing exceptional customer service
·         Answer telephone in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions
·         Check members into the system
·         New member sign-up
·         Handle transactions on the POS as well as close out drawers
·         Take prospective members on tours
·         Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to the General Manager as needed
·         Recognize and facilitate updates and payments to member’s accounts
·         Assist/Follow up with staff in maintaining neatness and cleanliness of the club during their shift 
·         Work the scheduled hours required
·         Send and communicate daily stats to manager and Regional 
·         Assist in being Lead team member to handle any staffing or member issues that come up on shift.
·         Help or aide any staff that may need training or guidance while performing tasks
·         All other duties assigned
 
Qualifications:
 
·         Must be age 18 or over
·         Basic computer skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail
·         Leadership traits and abilities 
·         High Level of professionalism 
·         Honest, punctual, and reliable
·         Excellent customer service skills and maintaining a professional and positive interaction with members, guests, and co-workers
·         Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
·         Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
·         Upbeat and positive attitude
·         A passion for fitness and health is preferred
  • CPR/AED certified (if not, training will be provided by PF)


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Physical Demands:
 
·         Continual standing and walking during shift
·         Continual speaking with members or employees and talking on the telephone during shift
·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
·         Must learn and practice safe habits while handling toxic chemicals during shift
