**Job Overview:**
As a Server, youâll be responsible for resident interaction with the dining program for the community\. From daily operations of the restaurant and bar, to catering and special events\.ÂThis is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem\-solving skills\. As the face of the dining experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast\-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards and authentically delivering on our Values and Global Service Standards\.

**Your Responsibilities:** Â
+ Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
+ Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
+ Must be able to explain the chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions
+ Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc\.
+ Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices; identifying Resident special dietary needs and special requests
+ Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
+ Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
+ Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
+ Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
+ Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip to Resident
+ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
+ Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisorÂ
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision\-making abilities are necessary\.
+ Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast\-paced environment\.
+ Possess strong interpersonal skills andâ¯is able toâ¯interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team\.âÂ
+ Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays\.
+ Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability\.
+ Progressive people management skills\.Â
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures\.
+ Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time\.
+ Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment\.
+ Reach with hands and arms\.
+ Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers\. **Â**
**Schedule:Â Wednesday\-Sunday \(times will vary\)**

**What We Offer:**
As a non\-exempt part\-time associate, you will be eligible for supplemental benefits to include dental, and Vision\. In addition, you will be eligible a 401k with company match\. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions\.

**Compensation: $15\.00 per hour**
