55-24 Substation & Distribution Engineer

55-24 Substation & Distribution Engineer:  This position performs engineering level transmission substation, distribution substation, and distribution system related troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrade duties.  Provides maintenance and upgrade planning, design, bid and contract management, and construction management duties for substation and distribution projects.  In addition, this position provides electrical engineering support to the SEU staff.  The position reports directly to the SEU Chief Engineer.  

Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, is preferred.  A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.  Experience with an electric utility is preferred.  Training and experience with computers and software necessary to evaluate and solve engineering problems, perform engineering design, and produce drawings for the construction of projects is preferred.  Registration as a Professional Engineer, preferred.  Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.  

Pay Range: $120, 640.00 annually plus comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Annual leave, Sick leave, Holidays, and Personal Days.
