**Job Description:**

**This position is for coverage only with a flexible schedule. The hours would be between Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm, No evenings, nights or weekends required.**

Highland Hospital is seeking an individual that will assist with the Highland Elder Life Program (HELP).

**Essential job duties include:**

Oversee daily operations of the Highland Elder Life Program (HELP). Screen and enroll patients into the program. Orient patients and families to the program and assign appropriate intervention protocols. Develop and oversee implementation of appropriate volunteer assignments for patients. Will provide coverage for the Daily Visitor Program, Therapeutic Activities Program and promotion of Feeding Assistance and Early Mobility protocols. Assist with recruitment, screening, and placement of program volunteers. Responsible for training and retention of program volunteers.

**Salary Range:**

$22.60-$31.02.

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._

**Job Requirements:**

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in human service field such as Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Nursing or another related field Required; master's preferred

2. Experience: Background in geriatric activities/recreation preferred, prior supervisory experience a plus, working with a Volunteers; experience with recruitment and retention.

3. License/Certification Required: None

4. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, must be able to multi-task with attention to detail, critical thinker, data collection & management, report writing, organized, Microsoft skills (Outlook, Excel & Word).
