What You'll Do

* Conducting field observations and obtaining samples for testing
* Documenting field observations and site activities daily in detailed field reports
* Performing destructive and non-destructive tests on construction materials
* Operating electric, pneumatic, and power actuated tools
* Performing concrete sawing, coring, and chipping
* Observing structural and reinforced steel connections in the field, both bolted and welded
* Performing steel and concrete plant inspections
* Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians and project managers
What We're Looking For
* High School diploma or GED
* 5+ years of experience
* ICC Steel/High Strength Bolt certification or AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification
* Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
* Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed
