Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Pharmacist to become part of our Specialty Pharmacy team. This role is essential in supporting patients with chronic conditions such as Transplant, Multiple Sclerosis, HIV, Oncology, Hepatitis C, and Autoimmune diseases.
Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will:
1. Accurately dispense medications and provide exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers.
2. Collaborate with sales staff to enhance networking with local healthcare professionals.
3. Mentor and oversee pharmacy technicians and interns.
4. Work closely with the pharmacy manager to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Pharmacist license in Texas.
- Availability Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy practices.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards.
Education
A degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD) is required.
