Wellness Peer Educator
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Enrolled at Elgin Community College
* Good Academic Standing
* Pursuing a degree in Health and Wellness Management, Physical Education or Personal Training Certificate.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, creative, outgoing, good communication, knowledge of Microsoft works, schedule flexibility, good customer service and professional office skills.
* Resume required
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Essential Duties:
* Promotion and marketing of upcoming events and seminars (Tabling at various locations on campus).
* Create materials and displays for Wellness Tips and Healthy Marketing.
* Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors and responsible health habits.
* Promote education regarding use and distribution safe sex health and strategies.
* Act as referral agents to promote wellness services/educate students on available resources for students
* Responsible for Student Health 101 publication of monthly online magazine
* Responsible for production of monthly Student Health 101 video
* Create programming to promote physical wellness
