Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the educator will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment to students, parents and administration regarding student progress.
Responsibilities:
* Provides differentiated learning experiences that enable all students to make progress.
* Develops well-structured lessons with challenging, measurable objectives and appropriate student engagement strategies.
* Organizes and analyzes results from a variety of assessments to determine progress, adjust practice and implement appropriate interventions.
* Provides regular, specific feedback to students and families on student performance, including how it can be improved.
* Welcomes and encourages every family to become active participants in the classroom and school community.
* Uses two way communication with families about student performance and responds promptly and carefully to communication from families.
* Collaborates with colleagues to support improved student learning.
* Clearly communicates and consistently enforces specific standards for student work, effort and behavior.
* Uses rituals and routines that create and maintain a safe learning environment.
* Consistently uses practices that are likely to enable students to demonstrate respect for differences.
* regularly reflects on his/her practice, individually and with colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree
* At least 1 years' experience
* DESE Licensure required
