We are currently seeking a Deputy Sector Manager for various Project Management and Construction Management, Resident Engineering and Inspection, and Construction Engineering and Inspection projects. This position will report to the Market Sector Leader for PMCM Services - US., and will require 20+ years of relevant experience in construction management. This individual will oversee the execution of current and new contracts; lead pursuits and capture of new projects. Participate in business development of PMCM projects. The position will be located out of our office in NJ, but will need to visit field offices and project sites as needed.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee all PMCM projects with various clients.
  • Manage staff working on projects within the group.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of projects.
  • Monitor budgets and schedules of projects.
  • Identify potential project prospects and lead preparation of technical proposals (narratives) to support marketing efforts.
  • Prepare and participate in proposal presentations.
  • Will be responsible for the Group's Sales Goal.
  • Partner with internal Talent Attraction team to help identify, interview and recommend potential candidates to be hired for the team.
  • Maintain membership in professional societies.
  • Manage all NJ PMCM Clients
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
  • P.E. license required and at least 20 years of experience in construction management of infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working for various local, state and federal transportation agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, NJ Transit, etc.
  • Project Management Procedures (PMP's) and Project Management Guidelines (PMG's) familiarity a plus.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
