Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Specialty: Behavioral Health

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an LPN, recent experience required within the last 3 months

License: Must be willing and eligible to obtain

Certifications: Must be willing to obtain necessary certifications

Must-Have:
- Child psychiatric experience
- Comfortable and experienced in children's units
- Willingness to float to other units and take charge LPN shifts
- Psych/Behavioral Health experience

Job Description:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Engage in the Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offering 24-hour care.
- Focus on helping patients develop and maintain sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues.
- Specialize in high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and education for strong recovery.
- Participate in CPI training offered onsite.

Additional Information:
- Must be comfortable working in a children's unit.
- Experience with psych skills checklist within the last year.
- Includes a requirement of two supervisory references from the last two years of employment.
- Scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file.
- Possible on-call duties with every other weekend shifts.
