The Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Wisconsin are recruiting a BC/BE pediatric physician to join the Department of Pediatrics Complex Care Section and Complex Care Program.
Opportunity highlights
* Join a dedicated and dynamic team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse care coordinators and care coordination assistants, as well as research and administrative staff.
* Seeking a physician with a passion and ability to work well with families and a multidisciplinary team.
* Individuals should possess the ability to combine the clinical experience and proficiency needed to care for children with medical complexity and contribute to developing and evaluating new models of care for the complex care population.
* Candidates should be board certified or eligible in pediatrics. Experience in caring for children with medical complexity is an asset.
* Participation in outcomes-based research is expected along with the potential for further protected time for health services research. Participation in leadership and other academic opportunities are available based on individual interests and qualifications.
About the Pediatric Complex Care Program
The Complex Care Program provides care coordination and medical co-management for a growing number of children with medical complexity and high resource use. Our program is actively engaged in all missions of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Wisconsin including clinical care, education, academic scholarship, and community service.

With a history dating back to 1893, the Medical College of Wisconsin is dedicated to leadership and excellence in education, patient care, research, and community engagement. More than 1,400 students are enrolled in MCW's medical school and graduate school programs in Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Central Wisconsin. MCW's School of Pharmacy opened in 2017. A major national research center, MCW is the largest research institution in the Milwaukee metro area and second largest in Wisconsin. In the last ten years, faculty received more than $1.5 billion in external support for research, teaching, training, and related purposes.
Children's Wisconsin is the region's only independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. The hospital, with locations in Milwaukee and Neenah, Wisconsin, is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. It is ranked in U.S. News & World Report's 2022-2023 Best Children's Hospitals report for several specialties. Children's provides primary care, specialty care, urgent care, emergency care, community health services, foster and adoption services, child and family counseling, child advocacy services and family resource centers.
