Summary:

We are currently looking for a VoIP Administrator. Preference will be given to Indian applicants. The VoIP Administrator will be responsible to ensure that the tasks required of the contract are complete and deliverables are executed on time, and to the satisfaction of the Task Lead, Project Manager and government customer.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

* Will apply current industry standards and best practices of hosted, physical or virtual on premises VoIP systems for the review, evaluation, and solutions for VoIP performance improvement, problem resolution, and proactive techniques to prevent VoIP and network performance issues as well as proven VoIP and VoIP related documentation practices.
* Will be responsible for project planning and management (e.g., new system design, installations, upgrades) involving multiples sites.
* Will write and maintain accurate system documentation, system specifications, system requirements, project plans, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports, cost models and training materials.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

* Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices used in the design of LANs, WANs and VoIP systems.
* Must possess the skills required for project planning and management (e.g., new system design, installations, upgrades) involving multiples sites.
* Possess an in-depth experience in the design of VoIP systems consisting of several thousand users and multiple sites.
* Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers served and associated support personnel.
* Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Four (4) -year degree in Computer Science or related field
