Position Description:

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a full-time faculty child and adolescent Autism and neurodevelopmental psychiatry position at the assistant professor level.

Join a growing academic psychiatry department/division and a rich group practice in Southeastern Wisconsin with a multi-disciplinary team that includes academic psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other ancillary staff.

Opportunity

* Academic position that requires a combination of patient care, teaching, research, and administrative activities necessary for the function of the department/division.
* Provide expert child and adolescent psychiatric care and consultation to patients seen in the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW)
* Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.

Education, training, and experience required

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
* Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
* Interested in pursing a career in academics to include teaching and research

Children's Specialty Group

A multi-specialty academic group practice with over 600 providers who provide specialty services at Children's Wisconsin and 22 ambulatory clinic locations across Wisconsin and beyond. Established in 2000 as joint venture (50/50) between Children's Wisconsin and Health System and The Medical College of Wisconsin, it is led by a physician chief executive officer and governed by an elected board of directors.
