Description

Position: Associate Manager, Accounting

Location: 6001 Oak Canyon Ste. 100, Irvine, CA 92618

Responsibilities: Complete various accounting close entries and analyses, including but not limited to, Lease ASC 842 entries, clinical and other general liability accruals, revenue accruals, equity entries, and intercompany related items. Support OUS operations for four subsidiaries by maintaining the month end close checklists to ensure that tasks are completed on time by various stakeholders. Maintain and improve the Accounting close management tool (FloQast) for global company-wide applications. Communicate any issues or delays in a timely manner regarding the review of transactions and month-end close journals to ensure they are properly coded to the correct GL accounts. Work directly with the FP&A team to facilitate accurate and timely reporting of activity for OUS subsidiaries, including analysis of balance sheets and income statements. Assist in the preparation of 10-Q/10-K workbooks on a quarterly basis to support external reporting needs and review monthly internal reporting as needed. Work cross-functionally with the accounting team and various departments on special process- improvement projects, assist with external and internal audits, and liaise with internal and external auditors on a quarterly basis.

Educ./experience: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a directly related field, plus two (2) years' post-baccalaureate experience as an Accountant, Auditor or related role. Experience must include recalculation and data analytics procedures, evaluation of SOX controls for fortune 500 companies, ASC 606, ASC 842 and ASC 860. Requires valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
