The Assistant Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care within an integrated model. This position will oversee the development, review, and evaluation of recovery plans, ensuring client and family participation while implementing appropriate interventions. The incumbent will provide strengths-based supervision and support to staff, fostering effective clinical treatment and crisis intervention to maintain youth in home and community settings.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, behavioral assistants, and supervisors within an integrated model of care to develop, review and evaluate recovery plan goals, provide resources, advocacy, perform routine assessment, crisis and trauma counseling, safety and build relationships with clients and families.
  • Oversee bio-psychosocial assessment and recovery planning process to ensure client and family participation as well as the development and implementation of appropriate recovery goals and interventions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of in-home and community-based counseling to clients and families by measuring progress over specified timeframes.
  • Provide strengths-based supervision and support to assist staff with providing effective clinical treatment and crisis intervention with a goal of maintaining youth in a home and/or community setting.
  • Oversee quality service metrics to ensure program fidelity through ongoing analysis, observation, case review, and consistent reviews of program data.
  • Prepare and review audits, CQI reports, and patterns of practice and make recommendations to correct problems identified including chart reviews for the purpose of quality service.
  • Develop and train clinical team to ensure growth, expanded skill set and scope of practice to ensure quality service metrics are met.
  • If needed, to maintain census and program requirements, maintain a small caseload.
  • Mentor clinicians to ensure families stable commitments to children by providing counseling and coordinating reunification efforts led by DCYF.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the community, with clients, schools, courts and with referring agencies seeking to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Oversee program budget subset aligned to contract requirements to ensure fiscal responsibility and viability of TFS program.
  • Support activities, services and programs that uphold NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Lead daily program meetings and utilization reviews when scheduled.
  • Attend weekly supervision and all staff meetings as required.
  • Other leadership development opportunities to expand skillset and oversight.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Masters' degree from an accredited school of social work - Required.
  • LICSW/LMHC - Required.
  • Valid driver's license and registered/inspected vehicle - Required.
  • Bilingual; English, Spanish, Portuguese, Creole - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 4-8 years' experience in human services, healthcare, and other non-profit agencies.
  • A demonstrated solid track record of innovative clinical leadership driving and supervising trauma informed service delivery teams to teach, guide, and support youth and families with their goals and challenges to remain in the home and communities.
  • Capacity to lead clinical excellence and utilizing strength-based counseling techniques, program structure, guidelines, crisis intervention aligned with quality service metrics.
