BH/DS Clinician III

Responsibilities:
- Complete all complex clinical assessments for annual reviews to include Comprehensive Needs Assessments, Risk Assessments, DLA-20's, Diagnostic Review, and Columbia Suicide Assessments.
- Write all treatment plans for individuals entering the IOP or expanded SUD services and complete their quarterly reviews.
- Provide clinical documentation and assure that all filling of clinical information is done correctly and within the time frame required following all Medicaid guidelines.
- Submit Medicaid authorizations and re-authorizations.
- Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in order to assist individuals in recovery and act as a consultant for team members throughout the program.
- Provides both process groups and psychoeducational groups, individual therapy, family and couple's therapy and crisis counseling.
- In the absence of the Clinical Supervisor and Program Supervisor, is responsible for delegating tasks, ensuring the safety of all individuals in the program at all times, handling crisis situations, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner, communicating with the administrative team, and being knowledgeable about policies and procedures.
- Responsible for individual monitoring, answering telephone inquiries, knowledge of referral sources, documentation in individual charts and other duties as assigned.
- Assist in program planning, development, implementation and evaluation to strive for continued program service delivery to individuals.
- Act as the consultant for others on the team to discuss complex case conceptualizations, treatment planning and discharge planning.
