Pay Rate: $145k-$165k annually, depending on experience.
Shift: Must be flexible with scheduling.
The General Manager, reporting to the COO, oversees all manufacturing functions including Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, and Maintenance. Responsibilities include coordinating operations, achieving goals, managing staffing, and fostering a safe work environment while developing future leaders and promoting the company's culture. The SQF reports to the GM, serves as their backup, and covers any absences or vacancies.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage strategies to minimize manufacturing costs by optimizing labor, equipment, materials, facilities, and capital.
* Meet or exceed budgetary goals in line with strategic objectives.
* Recommend and implement approved changes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
* Achieve optimal staffing and material use to meet budget and productivity targets.
* Ensure objectives and standards are met, exceeding customer expectations.
* Set departmental accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction.
* Continuously improve safety and develop employee safety awareness.
* Conduct employee performance reviews.
* Select, train, and motivate management and administrative staff.
* Maintain and improve housekeeping across departments.
* Ensure compliance with food safety system requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Four-year Undergraduate Degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
* Experience in a senior management role and partnering with executive staff.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
* The desire for a hands-on role in a rapidly growing company.
