Job Overview:

Perform a variety of mammography procedures and exams that require independent judgment, technical skill and knowledge of the process of diagnosis of breast disease.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Graduate of Accredited School of Allied Health Program of Radiography
* Certifications and Licenses Required:
* Current NJ license to practice
* ARRT Registration,
* Mammography Certification,
* aRTRM-Maintain CME credits

Essential Functions:

* Performs mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision in accordance to policies and procedures,
* Must provide patient services using digital mammography and Bone Station equipment,
* The technologist must be competent in patient satisfaction as well as technical skill,
* Exercises professional judgment in performance and patient care,
* Correctly utilizes the Radiology Information System to facilitate patient functions,
* Practices radiation protection safely routinely,
