About this position:

In this role you will provide expertise to support the customer acquisition and sale of Context Labs' Immutably, Context Labs' Decarbonization as a Service, and CLEAR Path Platform Products. You will provide technical expertise supporting and conducting product demonstrations. This individual will provide oil & gas industry facility knowledge as a critical nexus to bridge the gap between our sales team, our customers, and our software engineering team. You will work directly with the engineering team, sales team and our customers (customer facing) to understand the customer needs, formulate solutions, and help them achieve their goals.

In a rapidly growing software company, this is a crucial position with significant leadership exposure requiring multi-talented individuals. This person will work closely with sales executives, product management teams, and executive leadership to provide technical expertise, live platform demonstrations, and any other engineering-related support required during the pre and post sales process. This position will report directly to the VP of Technical Sales/AI/Data Integration.

In this role you will:

* Serve as a subject matter expert to support data analytics teams to perform advanced quantitative analysis of GHG emissions and identify and prioritize mitigation opportunities
* Provide technical expertise and perspective to the sales representative(s) to help identify customer needs and use cases throughout the entire sales process.
* Lead platform demonstrations during sales pitches to Senior Executives (including C-Suite) from potential customer companies to support the sales team in displaying the capabilities of the Immutably platform.
* Communicate regularly with clients and the professional services team to define technical and scoping requirements for their specific instance of the Immutably data fabric.
* Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to stay up to date on the latest offerings and updates and provide feedback from client pitches to guide the product roadmap.
* Actively interface between our customers and our software development team to ensure all required data is ingested into our software platform
* Interface directly with prospect and customer technical teams to field technical queries throughout the discovery process.
* Manage the creation of new or distribution of existing technical documentation in support of the sales cycle.
* Review Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), EPA GHG Emissions Data, and other relevant facility emission documentation to identify potential sources of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
* Provide highly responsive customer service and maintain a high level of member satisfaction, proactively identifying and resolving issues before, during, and after implementation.
* Communicate effectively across a large matrix team to ensure sales, engineering and leadership are suitably coordinated and informed.
* Build strong internal and external relationships with professionalism, courtesy, and positivity.
* Create and manage project execution plans to ensure the deliverables are executed to the highest quality and on-time.
* Anything else as may reasonably be required by the company.

Experience:

* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* An ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical people.
* Outstanding ability to think on your feet.
* Outstanding organizational skills. Effectively able to manage multiple, complex projects at once in a fast-paced environment, and maintain positive, collaborative relationships to interface effectively with multiple internal and external parties.
* The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of oil & gas industry operations experience and is interested in deploying this experience in a new way to meaningfully contribute to a rapidly growing start-up focused on climate change mitigation.
* Significant experience in oil & gas operating facilities (upstream, midstream, or downstream) with the ability to thoroughly understand process flow and fluid property fundamentals.
* Solid understanding of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effects Charts (C&E), Electrical One-Lines, Facility Layout Drawings, and similar engineered facility drawings
* Outstanding organizational skills. Able to effectively manage multiple, complex projects at once in a fast-paced environment, and maintain positive, collaborative relationships to interface effectively with multiple internal and external parties
* Proven ability to take initiative and produce results and a strong ability to collaborate with a diverse team of technical and business staff
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Scheduling Tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SmartSheet, or similar
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with the Atlassian suite of management tools preferred

Preferred Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering (process/process safety, facilities/operations, mechanical, environmental, or similar related field).
* Project Management Certification (PMI or equivalent) is a plus.
* Any experience with end-to-end software application architecture or RESTful API integration would be viewed favorably but not required.
* Prior experience in software, practical understanding of modern application architectures, and/or experience with RESTful API integration would be a plus, but not required.
* Hands-on experience with Process Simulation software
* Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
