Rehabilitation Specialist

Arundel Lodge is a non-profit organization that works toward a world where behavioral health disorders are not a limit to achieving a meaningful life in the community. We envision being an essential member of a community network that helps prevent behavioral health disorders and provides the care and support people need to lead healthy, productive lives. Our mission is to improve the lives of children, adults, and families impacted by mental health and substance use disorders.

Requires HS/GED, prefer Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field, one-year experience working in the mental health/psychosocial rehabilitation field, or acceptable combination of education and experience. Driver's license with acceptable driving record required, drug screen.

The day-to day job responsibilities:
• Providing transportation,
• Assisting with money management,
• Making appointments,
• Diet coaching,
• Shopping,
• Cleaning,
• Assistance with ADL's,
• Teaching life skills,

Rehabilitation Specialists are expected to practice the Recovery Model in all interactions with members. The Recovery Model emphasizes hope, member responsibility, peer support, respect, empathy, non-stigmatizing language, empowerment, using members' strengths, and self-determination.

Shifts available: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 10:00 pm to 6 am, weekends included
