**Job Summary:**
JOB SUMMARY
Comprehensive role which includes responsibility for medication purchasing, drug shortage management (in coordination with Director of Pharmacy or designee), drug recall coordination, and oversight of all pharmacy technician operations including supervision, training, and/or competencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy on hospital and/or corporate initiatives including purchasing and inventory control
- Assists the Pharmacist staff in the preparation of medications
- Assists the Director of Pharmacy in the following areas: Staffing/scheduling of Technician staff; Training/Education of Technician staff; Assigning responsibilities for various tasks to Technician staff and ensuring accountability; Providing quality pharmaceutical care and services to all customers.
- Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triages calls to the appropriate person if he/she cannot answer the requested information.
