Customer Service/Sales Support Representative

BHJ USA, LLC. is a leading supplier of fresh/frozen meat blends to both the wet and dry pet food industries. This position will be responsible for overseeing activities that include purchasing, transportation, inventory, and storage to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for our customers. Performance general administrative tasks as well as assisting commercial team by performing the following duties:
  • Provides customers with the best possible experience by answering questions, resolving problems and providing information about offerings of BHJ, USA and affiliated companies
  • Receives and confirms incoming orders, and verifies for correctness by checking it against previously obtained information as necessary
  • Proactively manages order fulfillment by working with customers, cold storage and sales staff to manage orders, shipments, receipt verification, and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Manages incoming containers by organizing documents, communicating with cold storage, and effectively monitoring life cycle of shipment
  • Schedules trucks and coordinates and resolves logistic issues with customers, suppliers and internally
  • Analyze and follow up on inventory versus contract volumes.
  • Posts transactional data in company PO system, process invoices from cold storage or carriers and resolve any billing issues
  • Process import permits applications and renewals
  • May assist in new customer onboarding to ensure all departments have necessary information.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company at assigned work location

H.S. or GED required and 1-2 years experience in customer service/logistics. Must be proficient in Office, have excellent customers service and communication skills and ability to work well independently.
