Shift: (Full-time, 40 hrs., days, evenings, nights, flexible shift, weekends & on call rotational coverage may be required.

The University of Miami Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Full time MRI Technologist in the Imaging Department. The individual in this role performs diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures by producing, assessing, and evaluating MRI images. The role requires the individual providing pertinent information as it relates to the specific MRI examination and delivers age appropriate patient care.
Minimum qualifications:
- Completion of a Two Year program in Radiologic Technology (AMA approved)
- Clear and Valid State of FL Licensure in Radiography
- BLS Certification

Patient safety is a top priority. As a result, during the Influenza ("the flu") season (September through April), the University Of Miami School Of Medicine requires all employees who provide ongoing services to patients, work in a location (all Hospitals and clinics) where patient care is provided, or work in patient care or clinical care areas, to have an annual influenza vaccination. Failure to meet this requirement will result in rescinding or termination of employment.
