The Office of the Facility Rear Deputy Chiefs, a mission-driven, complex, and dynamic oversight and direct administration arm to the CityState's Presidents Office of Infra Structure. The CityState in the Knoxville Tennessee seeks a Rear Deputy Chief of CityState Quartermasters Office - Internal Planning and Asset Resource Management.

Duties & Role:
  • Anticipates problems and utilizes alternative solutions if necessary;
  • Analyzes problems and adopts quick, effective, and reasonable solutions;
  • Leads workers effectively and promotes harmony and cooperation with other CityState Chief Department, Facility and Crew;
  • Efficient uses of major resources such as staff, money, equipment, apparatus, and technology;
  • Uses influence and power constructively and appropriately;
  • Accepts responsibility for activities of subordinates;
  • Is open to constructive criticism;
  • Creates an atmosphere that encourages other to participate in problem solving, creative thinking, and strategic planning
  • Leads strategic planning, performance management & supportive functions for the Inventory/Supply Leader(s) & Chief of CityState.
  • Oversees implementation of strategic projects; supports problem solving & cross divisional coordination; & helps to ensure productive scheduling & high-quality daily briefing materials

To successfully succeed in this role, the ideal candidate is;
  • meticulous, an effective planner & a strong excutor that can assemble strong teams, provide clear direction & drive groups of people towards strong results
  • must be able to develop & refine processes to ensure operation efficiency
  • works to ensure adequate daily log
  • relationship building to ensure that all personnel follow organizational operating procedures & process
  • Critical thinker that MUST be able to pivot at a moment's notice to address gaps/holes in processes and procedures to refine for risk mitigation

Requirement description :
  • 6+ years of pertinent experience, preferably in leadership capacity in relevant industry
  • MUST have a bachelor's degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of OSHA & safety regulations/protocols
  • ability to handle monies, equipment, apparatus, technology and oversight of staff employees
