Responsibilities:
RDH is responsible for delivering patient care as directed and supervised by the treating orthodontist, including: assessing and reporting dental conditions and pathology, performing patients screening procedures, including medical history review and dental charting; performing routine treatment procedures, emergency measures, and hygiene and sterilization of equipment; educating patients on proper oral health and orthodontic care; and miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Skills:
Successful candidates should demonstrate the following strengths: communication proficiency, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, excellent organizational skills and problem solving. Must be a team player, eager to learn, and dedicated to outstanding patient care.
Qualifications:
Valid dental hygiene license and current CPR certification.
Education Requirements:
Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program; knowledge and understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience Requirements:
No prior experience necessary; we will train.
