JOB SUMMARY

provides continuous quality entertainment and is responsible for taking orders and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Ensure the overall cleanliness of tables and side stations. Perform stocking and inventory as needed. Follow food and beverage standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Radiates a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with guests.
* Relays alcoholic drink orders and/or special requests to bartender.
* Prepares non-alcoholic drinks for guests. May pour/make certain alcoholic beverages as permitted by company policies.
* Responds guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
* Frequently checks on table to offer additional cocktail service.
* Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.
* Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts and promotions in computerized cash register according to company cash handling procedures.
* Clean and stock assigned station in service area.
* Maintains cleanliness of gaming floor including but not limited to replacing ashtrays.
* Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
* Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Food/beverage service experience with general knowledge of drinks preferred.
* Cash handling experience preferred.
* Proficient of alcoholic suggestive selling.
* Customer service oriented, knowledge of proper serving, and table-clearing techniques, patient and quick-paced.
* Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
* Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
* Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
* Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
* Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
* Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
* Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
* Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
