JOB SUMMARY

rovides continuous quality entertainment, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as food service to guests and Cocktail Servers from the service bars following standard recipes in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner. Clean and stock bar supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Greet customers and takes drink and food orders.
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
* Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and beer (bottled or draft).
* Ring drink and food orders into register, collect payment, and make change.
* Complete supply requisitions.
* Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
* Stock liquors, beer, wine, and other beverage supplies.
* Ensure that beverage service stations are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
* Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests. Assesses guest demeanor and identifies when behavior should be called to the attention of Management.
* Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
* Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* One (1) year previous experience as a Bartender and cash handling experience preferred.
* Must meet State minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
* Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
* Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
* Must know bar terminology and its application to service.
* Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
* Basic knowledge of all bar equipment and its functions including Point of Sale System.
* Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
* Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
* Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
* Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
* Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand
